So, not only did the Profs. update on Christmas, which is awesome and unexpected, but it looks like the Jagermonsters are back in town and handing in the two weeks notice, minus two weeks. How is Dolokhov going to juggle this?

Holy crap you guys, with all these reviews of Avatar I just realized that Buck Godot has WAY MORE INTERESTING ALIENS than the way-too-human Na'vi.
If Buck Godot becomes a movie, THAT will be the scifi-movie that will "change the movie-going experience."
... I couldn't find a Buck Godot comm so I thought you guys might best appreciate this comment.

I'm sure someone has done this before, but on another post we got talking about who people saw playing who. I had a couple of thoughts, and would be curious how everyone else sees people.
Tarvek: David Tennant (Doctor Who/Casanova)
Zeetha: Angelina Jolie in a green wig
Master Payne: Brian Blessed (Augustus in I, Claudius; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Bles sed )
Krosp: CGI, obviously, but voiced by Alan Rickman

I know I'm most probably the only one here, but when I think of a real life girl genius the first person that comes to mind if Eugenie C. Scott.

If the looks arent at least vaguely similiar enough, she's also head of the National Center for Science Education. Do you see? It's SCIENCE education!

Head on to the new comic, ( Spoilers Ahead! )
Do you want to sport green tresses, but can't find the right shade? Well, here's a step-by-step instruction manual on how I ended up with green hair:
Step 1. Bleach the sections of your hair that you want a cloverly hue (do not skip this step)
Step 2. Apply Punky Colours Violet to the bleached bits.
"Hold on a second!" I hear you shouting. "Punky Colours Violet is purple! It's purple! Says so right there on the color chart! Why didn't you use Spring Green or Apple Green or even Alpine Green?" Well, for one, because I'd intended my hair to be purple, and for two, okay, so there is no two. Just bear with me.
Step 3. Apply a sealing product to your hair, to put a semi permanent glaze on your hair and to keep the mess to your sheets and clothing to minimum. Punky Colours is food coloring on crack in a conditioner base, so the stuff tends to go everywhere. A little clear coat will only do you good, right?
Step 4. Don't read the ingredients list on the sealer until after you've put it on your head. See the part where it says something about "no metallic dyes." Think "Well, it's not really metallic, it's food color. What's the worst that can happen?"
Step 5. Rinse out the sealer, then look in the mirror at your purple hair.
Step 6. Find green hair instead. Rejoice in this happy lab accident.

It's a brighter, not-as-grey green as the Punky Colours greens, which have tended to be rather short lived in my experience. This is a deep, rich green. No telling how long it will last, but it was still a fun experiment.

It occured to me that Agatha and Zeetha's relationship seemed like Remo and Chiun from the Destroyer series (more here) therefore...

A few weeks ago, I took my first peep through the Sneaky Gate. However, I'm not sure I got it right...
In the comic page I viewed, Gil and Tarvek were arguing over something. If I remember correctly, the fight was about which one of them should be cut loose if things went wrong. It ended with Agatha pulling the startled boys into a bearhug and declaring with passionate affection that she was going to save them both.
But I haven't seen that page show up on the site yet. I've looked through the archives, and I can't seem to find it in the past, either. At least one of my friends says she also saw it when trying to look through the Sneaky Gate. Does anybody know what page we saw?
...or did we go too far through the Gate and see some kind of terrible future secret? :O
